Temperature scanner company announces three products to keep communities safe by measuring guest temperatures before entering establishments
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (June 16, 2020)--today The Safe Temp LLC (www.thesafetemp.com) announced three new products to help businesses as they prepare to open following stay at home orders precipitated by COVID-19.
Businesses, restaurants, gyms and retail stores can reliably and safely measure the temperature of guests before they enter a premises.
Safe Temp is a remote sensor that can be mounted on a door frame, set on a reception desk or even hand-held. The industry award winning sensor inside the Safe Temp box is manufactured in Belgium by Melexis. Using infrared technology the sensor announces whether the guest temperature is safe after the guest raises their arm and holds their wrist near its sensor. After passing the temperature measurement, a person with a normal temperature will be greeted with a voice that says "your temperature is normal." For those with abnormal temperature two types of voice alarm will sound, “Your temperature is abnormal” and “please check again” very quickly. The sensor can be customized with voice settings in different languages. The Safe Temp box requires a power source and a cord is included that can be plugged into an extension cord or nearby standard outlet. Mounting brackets are also included with purchase.
Also available is a temperature gun, which is a handheld device that can be used to provide non-contact measurement by directing the gun towards the forehead of guests. If the temperature is outside of normal range the user will be alerted with a red screen displaying the abnormal temperature. Both products can be set to fahrenheit or celsius. The gun is powered using two AAA batteries.
Finally, a UV Light Sanitizer is available. This UV light wand uses ultraviolet technology to kill microbes on contact on surfaces. It is fully rechargeable and wireless and comes with a USB cord for easy recharging. The wand is used on surfaces that have been manually cleaned to assure that any residual microorganisms are killed. The wand is lightweight and easy to use.
